The Umeå Hardcore scene has a worldwide reputation and is an important part of Swedish music history. With an emphasis on Umeå and the 1990’s we got the assignment to curate, design and build the exhibition “Umeå — the European Capital of Hardcore 1989–2000”. The exhibition is the largest collection of hardcore material in the world at the newly opened Guitars – the Museum.
